RAM costed 950 and Motherboard some 2600, don’t remember exactly about Motherboard, but its not more than 3000.

Raju,
I too can understand but the media is our country is seriously biased. Slowly they have ceased to be the fourth pillar of constitution. I have lost all hope in Media after Legislative and Executive. Now its only Judiciary where I trust.
Our Home Minister gave a comment that he feels relieved after resigning. Was he burduned with the role of Home Minister. He was the person who lost LS seat at Latur, still was made to come back via RS and given such a crucial portfolio. All this happened just because he has licked so many a**es of Gandhi dynasty.

Of course I understand, I was just mocking at a blog entry which I read somewhere on the internet where it said that Sun wants to recode Solaris in Java. this gave me an instant idea, especially one’s mind work great during the exams.
That’s why I said it Lame Thoughts. Plus, I do know what is memory management, I do have lots of experience in it.

Why don’t the people of India talk about the undue coverage of media during such rescue operation? Every news channel wants to be the first to air / broadcast the sensitive information as breaking news and win the maximum TRP. But does anyone assess whether display of such coverage can hamper the prospect of armed forces’ operation? Is there a need that the government should re-look at the role of media and the governance of media coverage during such operations? Why no one talks about filing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) to discuss and to assess the role of media while covering such stories concerning the National Security.

There are bigger issues of National Security which are being sidelined over smaller issues. The security of our nation is breached by the terrorists. There are serious lapses in the public security. India has witnessed series of Bomb blasts in this year. The Home Minister of India does not think that he is morally responsible for such lapses. Perhaps he is keen in changing fashionable attires and does not have time to find solution to terrorism. The media is not seeking explanation from the Government and unnecessarily indulging in wrong propaganda. Is media being misused to move the attention of the people from these important issues?

hey dost… i dont know why but i just thought of searching with “Microsoft Internship” today to see what results came up…n guess what… ur blog came up 5th!

having travelled the whole journey - first getting the internship interview call… and subsequently landing the internship….
and then eventually, 2 months later, landing the job… all i can say is that, it’s been one hell of a ride/experience. (thanks 4 bein there with me man… i remembered this very famous quote: “the journey is pleasant not because of the journey itself but cos of the ppl who travel with u.” thanks for bein my fellow traveller dost! )

pata nehi kyun aaj kaafi senti lag raha tha…colg bhi khatam hone ko hain…so when i read this blog entry in the search results, i couldnt help commenting. cheers!

Yeah, for interviews being friendly, I agree 100%. One interviewer took me to the interview room with hands on my shoulder asking my place of residence etc etc.

There are only 12 teams in MSIDC, Where most important are Visual Studio, Silverlight, Data Protection and a few more. There are no hardware teams in IDC as far as I know. If you are lucky enough, you may get into dev team, but you can still change after a year or so.

Good for you you got into a dev team:) I had a chat with the person in charge of recruitments. I asked if interns got a choice in working in the field of their interest. I wanted to work on DirectX/Xbox360.

What he told me was interesting. According to their internal policies, if their team works on any product, they work on it end to end. So they either completely develop it or have no role at all. Sadly there is no DirectX/Xbox360 work in India.

One thing that was surprising was that the interviewers were really friendly. I was hoping a kind of stress interview, but the interviewers were guiding at every step:)
