Who said miracles do not have any place in this tech era? Well our Team in Blue showed proved it false. I never ever thought of winning by chasing a whooping 316 and losing 5 wickets having an excellent start. Sachin as usual was in blaster mood, hit a 94 falling just 6 runs short of his century. Maybe luck is not favoring him, as far as i know, this is his 16th century miss. Oh! What a bad luck!

Yesterday’s match is incomplete without the mention of yesterday’s hero- RV Uthappa, the guy who hit 47 off 33 balls steering India to victory. His 8 fours were the most interesting, the last two fours were the winning shots. India needed 10 runs of the last over. Uthappa in form showed up the real fight, wickets went on falling but he stood unshaken from the pitch.

Its a time for Dravid to relax, it was his decision to give the last over to Yuvraj in the England innings. That was a major blunder, that over was : 0-6-6-6-6-6 . What beautiful numbers! Series is leveled 3-3. Next match is on 8th September at Lords. Whenever I remember Lords, the Natwest series comes in my mind. Remember Yuvraj chased a nearly impossible 316 score which made him a national hero? Remember one more thing? Saurav Ganguly took off his shirt and revolved it in extreme joy. Some golden moments remembered and cherished.

Its raining like cats and dogs for the last few days, Manipal looks beautiful and thanks God! College going on smooth except those silly new rules framed daily by our new innovative-minded director. Sessionals scheduled to start on 17th of this month and i havnt started studying till now, only progress is that I bought 2 books today. We had got our first assignment last week and submitted it today, thanks to Sec-B Rocks ,which is our section’s website. The assignment was solved and put up on the site and rest was our work.

Post sessionals we have our college tech-fest “Tech-Tatva” . Out of many events held, I have been working on an event called Stockastica. Its actually a virtual stock market simulated such that it gives you the reality feel. I even hope to attend some paper presentations though am not participating in them. Even am not in the organisers of Stockastica, just working on its technical aspect. The only events i hope to participate are coding championships and some aerodynamics events.

Finally before summing up I would like to tell that my attendance in some papers is poor. In operating systems I have missed 6 classes and just missed today’s. In Theory of Computation I have 5 misses. I can just hope of  covering them up before the second sessionals.
