A few days back,i installed 3 web servers on my comp- APACHE TOMCAT, JAVA SDK and MS IIS, it was just a trial. Actually i was reading servlets for my Java semester exams, i came upon TOMCAT and JAVA SDK. To check their performance i just downloaded and installed both of them. Now you would be waiting for the feedback???

Yeah surely, Apache Tomcat stole the show- Light Weight, easy installation, Less load on system, Robust and many more features for which Apache is known for. When i started the server, it didnt even affect the speed of my system, worked exellently.

Java SDK too installed without any problems. But when i started the server, my comp became damn slow, it worked well but still it lagged when compared to Apache.

MS IIS was that which i disliked the most. Now i know why 70% of the world uses Apache as their first choice of Webserver.

The problem was that both Tomcat and SDK runs on port 8080, so i could use only one of them at a time. IIS used port 80 due to which Apache server stopped working which i had installed with WAMP. Finally i can say that its Apache which is my first choice as a Web Server and i have learn how to configure it also… CHEERS!!!!!

Semester exams are drawing nearer and nearer, i have only one day in hand, loads of syllabus and all those sad stories which follow any exams…. Friends, leave it, let me tell you some positive points that i have…

Only 11 days are left, i have grown home sick a lot, will spend the whole holidays (approx 45 days) at home since i have not decided to undergo industrial training till now.

This semester has been a good one as far as academics are concerned, i have proper internals in hand and so i dont have to take the tension which people usually take before exams….

Papers finishing on 4th, i will be leaving that evening itself (as early as possible) and reach home on 7th finally! At last…..

Friends, finally 3rd sessionals have come to an end. Though it finished yesterday itself for me(i skipped the last paper), now its a great time for me, 8 days gap for the semester exams… A long gap indeed…

Finally i decided on my training. I gonna leave the industrial training, by the way its not included in the academic curriculum. The idea that it benefits us by giving industrial knowledge is just a crap for me, at least it sounds that way.

Am too excited by remembering the fact that we have only 3 weeks to go for our holidays, after that only sleeping, sleeping and sleeping this summer break.

And by the way College reopens on 30th July and last paper is on 4th June… Long summer break! Isnt it???

Enjoy….

So friends,am finally back to blogging after such a long gap, actually my Windows crashed (am used to it) a week ago when one of my friend was trying to install Bluetooth Driver for transferring pics, the Comp rebooted and it was the last time it showed its face.

I finally dumped it in service center coz i didnt have time for installing Windows and the numerous softwares and drivers. I was having lab sessionals that week and now finally its over to find myself in such a state of dilemma. My third sessionals are starting this Monday,i have taken it too lightly….. Better i start studying seriously…
