This Sunday i got a chance to visit the Apple Store… Though there was nothing new in the store-all the stuffs which all people have heard like iPOD and other gadgets. But there was one special thing in my visit there-I got a chance to use the MAC OSX for the first time…

What an excellent OS!!! Such exciting graphics, don’t know why people are excited of Windows Vista’s graphics when u have MAC. Such excellent graphics would surely require 2GB of RAM if it would be provided by windows..

Not much to say but one thing to sum up - Apple people dont know marketing otherwise Mac would be the world-wide and most used OS as i believe…

Its a comeback for India after facing humiliating defeat at the hands of Bangladesh. Not only they stop there but set up new records for ODI’s and World Cups. The score of 413 is the highest score in a World Cup Match. India’s margin of victory by 257 runs broke the record for the largest margin of victory in ODIs. The previous record was made by Sri Lanka who had won by 256 runs. Sehwag made his first century in the World Cup. Five Ducks in Bermuda innings!!! Sachin 57 off 29 balls. A good comeback. Yuvraj Singh hit 7 sixes but failed to break Ricky Ponting’s record of 8 sixes. AND finally the partnership of 202 between Sehwag and Ganguly was the eighth double-century partnership in World Cups.

It was 19th of March and the event to bookmark this day was the performance of Euphoria. The band was here in Manipal to take away MITians by their Magic Spell. The show started at around 9:30 though the time was 8:00 (they proved that they are celebrities). Audience were held spell bound by their awesome performance. They performed most of their hit tracks which included DHOOM PICHAK DHOOM and MAAERI (my favourite). Show ended at night around 1 AM.

The crowd was as enthusiastic as it could be. Such a big open ground still the crowd was very disciplined. One fact which they said was that this is the only college in which faculty sits at the side, surely center and front places are for enthusiastic crowds.

Its over after 5 days of non-stop masti…

8th Match of the ICC World Cup saw a stunning and unusual performance of the Bangladeshies. Who knew that the team who was once considered unfit to play the tests can show their might in the World Cup Itself!!!

In an another unexpected result, Ireland proved their mettle by defeating the Pakistanies in their league matches. Is this World Cup full of unexpected results??? 3 matches with teams winning over 200 runs! Bangladesh defeating India and Ireland beating Pakistan!

As I sum up the details of the Match, Yuvraj Singh and Saurav Ganguly were the two who saved India from the pitiable situation though they didn’t get significant support from the other players.

Later India’s Bowlers proved their quality! Bangladeshies taking away runs and wickets properly preserved.

They are fit to be called Paper Tigers at least for Yesterday’s Game .

Herschelle Gibbs was in a violent mood yesterday. WOW! Six sixes in an over! A world Record… He surpassed Sanath Jaysuriya’s Record of 5 sizes which he managed twice. Gibbs 7 sixes in an innings just fell short of World Record with 8 sixes made by Ricky Ponting in World Cup Finals 2003.

It was just a 40 overs match and the score set up by South Africa was a whooping 353 with only 3 losses. What a game!!!

18 Sixes. 221 run vicory. Mark Boucher 75 off 31 balls (fastest half century in world cup). Run rate 8.82. Am Speechless! Awesome performance.

South Africa has set up its Victory March. Are they UNSTOPPABLE?

Finally MAD ADS was staged on 3rd day of REVELS. Guys and Gals clever enough to understand double meaning words thronged the quadrangle. Total of 8 teams were here to prove their mettle. I think MITians are clever enough to understand double meanings. I dont think i even need to explain the quality and type of performances put up. Though first few teams entertained the audiences, last teams fell short of their expectations.

EASTERN BATTLE OF BANDS was another event held after MAD ADS. The Bands put up mind blowing performances. Audiences were left speechless…………
